Auburn, IN, January 17, 2006–Moss Construction Cost Management Inc., a full service cost consulting firm, will be managing the terrace and ramp repairs at the Eckhart Public Library, Auburn, IN. In addition, Moss Construction Cost Management will oversee the renovations at the newly acquired storage facility adjacent to the library.
Moss Construction Cost Management opened its office in Auburn, IN in June 2005. The company offers owner representation and project management of commercial construction projects, as well as cost estimating, claim mitigation and sustainability consulting.
Jonathan Moss,
president of Moss Construction Cost Management, has
been providing professional cost management services in the US and internationally
for 21 years. His experience covers a wide range of project types with
construction values up to $1.4 billion.
When asked why he decided to open his new business in Auburn, he said, “We used to live in Washington DC but moved back so that our children would see more of their grandparents, who live locally. Auburn is a growing community with a lot of potential and we sensed a need for our expertise. Future development will generate a demand for the type of construction advice we provide.” Before opening the office in Auburn, Moss was operating the business from his home.

is registered to do business with the State of Indiana and the Federal
Government as a small business. The
company is also a member of the US Green Building Council.
A Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a professional organization dedicated to construction cost management and development economics, Moss recently completed a three year term representing the Americas Territory on the RICS Construction and Project Management Faculty Boards. He is a Certified Cost Consultant and a member of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering.
